Jerry is a 6-month-old Schnauzer mix. He's house trained and crate trained. He and his owners just weren't a good fit. They got Jerry as a puppy. There was nothing wrong with him. The people just realized Jerry needed more work and attention than they were able and willing to give.
Jerry has had his shots and has an appointment in December to get neutered, which I'll pay for. He comes with his own nice crate.
Jerry is staying at Dog Days Inn and has been assessed their by a dog behaviorist. She says Jerry is one super-smart, easygoing dog who plays well with others -- males and females. He can use some basic obedience but is a quick learner and will make someone who has kids a really good pet.
If anyone is willing to foster him, that also will work. A packet of information about Jerry's assessment is available at Dog Days Inn. The number is 426-5700.
Jerry has one of those bearded faces and is just adorable. I just want this dog to get the love and attention he needs. Call Dog Days Inn or Nancy at 486-3568 or 261-2332.
Thanks,
Nancy McCleary
